Weather:
The Turks and Caicos Islands benefit from a very agreeable tropical climate with temperatures varying from 95° (F) or 35° (C) in the summer, to 80° (F) or 27° (C) in the winter. The almost constant easterly island breezes keep the heat comfortable and make the island temperature feel cooler than thermometer readings. September and October are the hottest months of the year.
The islands enjoy very low humidity and great deals of sunshine.
Providenciales, North Caicos and Middle Caicos average only about 44 to 50 inches of rainfall annually, with Grand Turk, Salt Cay and South Caicos averaging only 22 inches annually.
Ocean water temperatures are between 82°F to 78°F in the winter months, perfect for swimming and snorkeling, ranging higher in the summer months from 82°F to 86°F.
